Join Saira for this Pilgrimage Retreat in Cornwall coastline. Staying deep in the rainforest, only accessible by 4×4 vehicles, we will leave our cars and walk up the river banks until we reach this magical space. On the North Cornwall Coast, once revered by the Celts, visited for thousands of years by our ancestors, for the healing waters and sacred energies within the land.

The retreat space is right up in the tree canopy, at the top of a sacred 60ft waterfall, one of the most secret and beautiful places in the county.

When the waterfall is closed to the public each day, we will have the entire place to ourselves. Expect water ceremonies to cleanse and purify, after deep work in healing meditation with Saira, to clear energies from our Karmic energy field.

Expect to spend a lot of time soaking wet, from sacred holy water and possible rain!
Expect to learn rich knowledge and wisdom from our ancestors, legends and mysteries of hermits, saints, sorcerers and mystics who have walked this coastline for aeons.
Expect to be immersed in tales of faeries, water gods, elementals, nature and tree spirts, rich stories to fill and inspire your heart.
Expect to do a lot of walking, climbing, coast path exploring,  paddling, wild swimming, vinyasa flow yoga and more, this is going to be a very active time as well as a relaxing time.
Expect to enjoy a full Luxury Nature Spa –  abundant sights and sounds of the wild every moment of every day to heal your spirit.
Expect amazing vegan food, wonderful conversation and circle times, fires, woodland bathing, nature spirt and elemental connection!

Cosy, modern rooms are spread across two wooden houses, set right up in the tree canopy above the waterfall. There are plentiful bathrooms and each room has a toilet right outside of it.
Each house has an open plan living space.
The yoga studio is a few feet from one of the houses, we have our own private garden, meditation cabin, fire pit and full access to the waterfall anytime of day, private access when its closed to the public (before 10am and after 4pm)
Meals are eaten together in the larger house and breakfast will be left in each house each day for you to help yourself to.

What to expect in May, during the 4 night retreat stay:

Thursday – Joining Day
Meet Saira at the waterfall car park at 2.30pm and have your luggage taken up by 4×4 while we walk up the woodland path to the retreat together (you must be there by 2.30pm or there won’t be a lift for your bags)
Our first circle time together to set the space and join our energies for our stay
Down to the waterfall to take in the beauty of the surrounding nature and meet the Water Goddesses
Restorative yoga
Vegan two course supper, created by the amazing chefs at the venue

Friday – Decompress & Clearing Day
Rise early for meditation at the waterfall to Connect with the Elementals and Nature Spirits
Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Saturday – Exploring Coasts and Labyrinths Day
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Breakfast
Set off on a long circular walk (approx 5-6 miles)- down the valley, past the Labyrinth carvings, along the rugged coast path, down the steep steps and over rocks into Merlins Cave, sea swimming and then back through fields and lanes ( we will do the walk no matter what the weather so come prepared!)

Sunday – Pilgrimage to Holy Chapels Day

Walk down the valley to little chapel at the bottom of the hill, minibus takes us to St Materiana’s right on the coast and St Clethers, a little inland

Access to this retreat is very limited and we can only walk up to the retreat, approx 30-40 mins. If you need to arrive or leave out of the times set, you have to pay £30 to have your luggage taken back down to the car park by staff and you have to walk. Its not possible for staff to pick up or drop off other than 2.30pm on our first day and 2.30pm on our last day…think of it like catching a plane, you just have to be there on time.

This is going to be a powerful Pilgrimage Retreat. This will be unlike any other retreat Saira has ever run, in all the 12 years of her experience. Saira was given the schedule and intention for this retreat directly from spirit, whilst at the venue and in the surrounding area in July 2023. Saira will use all the gifts and tools she has been given by her Angelic Team, to guide you through this deep cleansing healing retreat.

“I took myself off on a little road trip. I’m having some time to myself, first bit of time without my children in 12 years! Last time I had time, I went to Assisi in Italy on retreat, it was life changing.
This time I went to Cornwall. I was heading there to check out a new retreat venue, plans for this are underway with dates in May and September 2024.
I didn’t really have a plan, I had left it really last minute and didn’t find anywhere to stay until the night before!! But of course it was all aligned and perfect.
I set off to Dartmoor thinking it would be nice to visit some places I love on the route. I knew something was happening, when I found a ladybird tucked into the rim of my sunglasses. Ladybirds have always connected me to the Divine Feminine energies of our Goddess Mary, so something about this little passenger made me feel this trip was more than just to check out a new retreat!
As I sat in the Pixie Glen at Lydford Gorge, I was surrounded by the sounds of nature and I started to feel I was being guided, this was a Pilgrimage, I heard the words “Connecting to the Elementals” and “Wipe the slate clean”, I knew this was the intention for the retreat I was meant to be running and as the days unfolded I realised my whole trip had been set up by spirit, to show me the retreat, exactly as its going to be mapped out, plus I was going to get the benefit of this special time there too now, connecting my back to the nature spirits and wiping my slate clean.
Over the next three days, I was guided to chapels and holy wells on moors and tucked away in meadows, waterfalls and coast paths, valleys , caves and labyrinth carvings, whenever I got lost there was always someone that just appeared to guide me on. I felt the Divine Feminine energies around me so strongly and the sound of crashing water became the background to it all, whether it be rivers, falls or the rugged and powerful ocean.
I felt my own slate being wiped clean in the sacred waters and my mind became more still than it ever has, my heart more peaceful and emptied of discomfort than ever before in my life.
By the end of my trip, I knew exactly the format of the retreats for 2024 here ‘Connecting to the Elementals – A Pilgrimage Retreat in North Cornwall’ that will be nothing like any retreat I’ve run before, completely channelled and guided by the nature spirits and the water goddesses.
