Retreat policy

On all our retreats, both private retreats, days and residential, once a deposit or full payment is received the client enters into an agreement with Mellulah Therapy & Yoga Retreats.

This agreement states that within 6 weeks of a residential retreat date, deposits and all final balance payments can only be refunded once we fill your space. Day retreat spaces will not be refunded within 14 days of a retreat date unless the place can be filled.

Balance payments for residential retreats are due 6 weeks before the retreat start date. If balance payments are not received within 4 weeks of the retreat start date, your place is no longer guaranteed and will be re-advertised on our website etc.

It is a term of this agreement that when booking a residential retreat, travel insurance should be put in place to ensure you are covered if you need to cancel your booking as no refunds will be made within 6 weeks under any circumstances, unless we fill your space.

All cancellations are sent out to a waiting list (if available) and full refunds will be given if a place is filled. Part refunds will be made if a place has to be discounted to fill space at the very last minute (within 3 days of a retreat start date). This also applies to day retreat waiting lists but discounts are never applied and full refunds will be given if the space is filled within 7 days of the day retreat start date.

Therapy policy

Massage/Therapy appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours to avoid a fee.

Yoga class policy

Yoga class credits are handled via my booking system. You must contact me if your credits are going to run out on the system. It is your responsibility to check if your credits are going to run out, nothing can be done once they have expired. Refunds can not be given on credit packs bought and then not used so it would be greatly appreciated if you did not ask.

If you wish to cancel a yoga class you can do so online (via ‘MY SCHEDULE’ on a desktop or by clicking on the ‘clock’ symbol at the bottom of your screen on the APP) up to 12 hours before the class start time.You can still cancel after 12 hours online but you won’t get your credit refunded anymore.My classes are super flexible (many yoga teachers require block bookings of 6+ weeks with no refunds given at all!) so I am still keeping a large degree of flexibility within the system to cancel.

I am very sorry but after years of being incredibly flexible and maybe a bit too easy going, I can no longer accept last minute cancellations on the day/a few hours/minutes before the class starts.
PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR A REFUND FOR A CANCELLED CLASS WITHIN 12 HOURS OF THE START TIME! 
Reiki Course Policy
A deposit of approximately 50% is due to confirm a course. Once paid, students are expected to give plenty of notice if there is any need to cancel or postpone a course. Deposits can not be refunded under any circumstance but can be transferred if at least 14 days notice is given or, if within 14 days, the place can be filled. If no place is filled, the deposit will not be transferred or refunded and courses will have to be rebooked and another deposit paid.
This policy has had to put in place due to an unprecedented amount of last minute cancellations on fully booked Reiki courses where many potential students have been turned away and it has become impossible to continue with such generous, refund/transfer offers as have so far been given.
Please do not ask for transfers or refunds when your place has not been filled, if you cancel within 14 days of a course start date.
Please consider the instalment option if you are struggling to pay for a reiki course and please have awareness  for small businesses when considering booking a course if you are not fully committed.
