About this retreat
Join Saira Francis and Amanda McGregor for a blissful five night retreat. Hosted in the beautiful mountain villa of Tamazirt, this retreat is set just 13 minutes from the bustling village of Taghazout on the coastline near Agadir in Morocco.
The retreat is run by Shiraz, a retreat host originally from Bournemouth and now living out in Morocco with her family. Alongside her partner, Shiraz runs Amayour Surf. Their two centres offer the best of Morocco, with one in the bustle of the lovely village Taghazout, and our chosen venue, a villa in the hills. Expect complete quiet and relaxation – apart from passing goats, donkeys, horses!
We invite you to share this gorgeous experience with us as we retreat in the sunshine. Relax, eat well, have fun, laugh much, and perhaps try yoga and surfing for the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions
We don't serve alcohol on any of our yoga retreats, to bring you a truly authentic retreat experience. Morocco is a 'dry' country and alcohol is rarely served in restaurants or to buy in shops.
Get in touch and we'll help you plan your journey, we recommend flying from Gatwick to Agadir which is around £85 for a return. Alternatives are Bristol - Marrakesh also approx £85 We offer a one way transfer from Agadir airport and will arrange your Marrakesh transfer at extra cost if needed. We will match you up with other guests to share transfers both ways.
The retreat venue have their own amazing local chefs to cook you beautiful vegan or vegetarian meals throughout your stay. You will not be expected to lift a finger, not even to make your own mint tea! Filtered water is available. Do let us know soon if you have any dietary requirements we need to be aware of.
We always recommend not using your phone while on retreat with us. You will want to take photos and check in with family at home, so try to limit phone use and keep it in your room or switched off as much as you can. Respect other guests by not using your phone in the rooms or retreat spaces, its best to go outside to make calls etc. You will feel you have gained so much more from your retreat if you delete social media apps and also getting a new SIM and only giving it to your loved ones who may need you, is a great way to get a proper break. Talk to Saira about how to get the most from your much needed time away.
