Retreat policy
Please note this policy was updated on 29th January 2026 and applies to all retreats, sound baths and soul medicine events.
On all our retreats, both private retreats, days and residential and for all sound baths and Soul Medicine events, once a deposit or full payment is received the client enters into an agreement with Mellulah Retreats LTD.
This agreement states that all residential retreats in the UK are booked with a £250 or abroad a £400 non-refundable deposit. Balance payments are due within 8 weeks of a residential retreat date and all final balance payments can only be refunded if we fill your space.
If spaces are not filled, there can be no refund. Deposits remain non-refundable to cover our costs in re-advertising etc.
For all day retreats, sound healing and soul medicine events, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances. If you cancel within 14 days of an event we will try to fill your space and only then can we offer you a transfer to another event. If you cancel within 48 hours, transfers are no longer possible.
Balance payments for residential retreats are due 8 weeks before the retreat start date. If balance payments are not received within 6 weeks of the retreat start date, your place is no longer guaranteed and will be re-advertised on our website etc.
It is a term of this agreement that when booking a residential retreat, travel insurance should be put in place to ensure you are covered if you need to cancel your booking as no refunds will be made within 6 weeks under any circumstances, unless we fill your space.
All cancellations are sent out to a waiting list (if available) and refunds (minus £250 deposits) will be given if a place is filled. Part refunds will be made if a place has to be discounted to fill space at the very last minute (within 14 days of a retreat start date).
